Introducing PWK
We have invited Tabata san to introduce the technical aspects of Japanese game producing and the operating model of the industry chain. He will also share his insights gained from many years of developing the Final Fantasy series and discuss the new project direction for his new studio, JP GAMES. Additionally, he will present a brand new game development tool, PWK by the JP GAMES. In the future, there are high hopes for using PWK to create a completely new gaming ecosystem.
Joe Teng, CEO of Nada Holdings, has been engaged in animation and game content investment and development for 20 years. As early as 2015, he was one of the only few foreign companies who could join the Japanese Production Committee as a member.
Hajime Tabata is a famous Japanese game director, the former Luminous Productions COO and Head of Studio who previously worked for Square Enix and currently is the CEO of JP Games. He was the Head of Square Enix's Business Division 2 and part of the Final Fantasy Committee which is in charge of the franchise's releases and content consistency. On October 31, 2018, he left Luminous Productions and Square Enix, and subsequently established a new studio, JP GAMES, which brings together RPG experts to develop RPGs and the middleware PEGASUS WORLD KIT (PWK). PWK is a game/anime/metaverse development tool, which has already been offered to companies and is attracting a lot of attention from outside the gaming industry as well.
