This session invites the audience to a virtual tour of the backstage of SH4D0W, offering a glimpse into the technology of the 4D Box stage that creates mixed-reality illusions, as well as insights from the creative team on integrating artificial intelligence into live performances. The tour will be followed by a live Q&A session with key members of the SH4D0W team from Helsingborg and Copenhagen.

Taiwan Creative Content Agency / Project Manager of International Partnership, Content & Culture Technology Department

Born in Taipei with a background in literature and Theatre. Currently serving as a Project Manager in the Cultural Technology Department of the Taiwan Cultural Content Agency. Dedicated to promoting Taiwanese cultural technology content and talent, fostering cross-border and cross-disciplinary collaborations, and enhancing international industry cooperation and communication. Previously served as the Program Manager for Kaohsiung Film Festival XR Dreamland and Kaohsiung VR FILM LAB Theatre.

Mikael Fock

SH4D0W / Producer, Director

With a background as theater director and media artist Mikael Fock, has been directing and developing a large number of theater performances especially in the field of Art and technology and immersive theater, nationally and internationally.

Mikael Fock has been the CEO and artistic director of the Culture Yard since 2010 until today 2022. During these years he created the international Art and Tech Festival Click, and started to make international performance productions in this field.

Carl Emil CARLSEN

SH4D0W / Media Artist, Interaction Designer

Carl Emil Carlsen is a Danish artist and designer who creates interactive experiences in the hybrid space between physical and virtual reality. Exploring the sensory potential of generative algorithms, and their application in live performance and visual music, he works closely with composers and musicians to investigate new forms of interplay between live sound and animation. His works have been featured at events and venues such as Ars Electronica (Linz), Nikolaj Kunsthal (Copenhagen), and Click Festival (Helsingør).

Cecilie Waagner FALKENSTRØM

SH4D0W / AI Artist

Cecilie Waagner Falkenstrøm is an award-winning artist employing technology (artificial intelligence, machine learning, LLM, GPT, blockchain and NFT) to create interactive artworks. Her artworks have been exhibited internationally; among others at Victoria and Albert Museum in London and Ars Electronica in Austria. She created the first ever AI and blockchain artwork in space aboard NASA’s part of the International Space Station. Two time winner of “The Lumen prize”, “Prix Ars Electronica, Honorary Mention” and the British Art and Humanities Research Counsel’s “TECHNE Award”.
