Serial Bridges: TAICCA x Series Mania Pitch

2024 Serial Bridges Series Development Workshop, co-organized by the Taiwan Creative Content Agency and the Series Mania Institute, focuses on fostering international collaborations in TV drama development. Series Mania Institute is a talent development initiative under the renowned Series Mania Forum, one of Europe’s leading international TV drama markets held annually in March. The forum connects producers, platforms, and investors, offering co-production pitching sessions, story translation opportunities, and talent development proposals.

The Serial Bridges Workshop concludes with a pitch session at TCCF 2024. Featured projects from Taiwan and Indonesia include a female-led anthology comedy, a Y2K sci-fi thriller, a dystopian Tokyo future, and an AI crime thriller, providing diverse and compelling storytelling.

Moderator: Pierre ZIEMNIAK | Director of Programs | Series Mania Institute

Pierre ZIEMNIAK is the Director of Programs of Series Mania Institute. He is a graduate of HEC Paris and holds a degree in history from Paris IV-Sorbonne. From 2015 to 2018, he participated in the production of the series "Le Bureau des Légendes" (Canal +). In 2017, he published a book exploring the history and economics of French series: "Exception française: De Vidocq au Bureau des légendes, 60 ans de séries" (Éditions Vendémiaire). Within Series Mania Institute, he develops national and international initiatives for audiovisual professionals. He launched the Serial Bridges workshops in 2023 to connect screenwriters and producers from different countries with the international series market.
