TAICCA x Produire au Sud Feature Film Pitch
TAICCA x PAS Workshop is a collaboration between the Taicca School and the Produire au Sud (PAS) workshop, part of the Festival des 3 Continents in Nantes, France. This year's call for submissions was extended to include Southeast Asia and Japan, focusing on feature film projects in development.
Six international teams were selected, with participants from Taiwan, Japan, the Philippines, and Vietnam. Their projects span diverse styles and themes, tackling subjects like politics, women’s consciousness, and post-pandemic relationships. Throughout the workshop, teams received project development support, participated in various courses, and benefited from personalized consultations.
The workshop culminates with a feature film pitch session at the TCCF 2024 , providing a platform for these emerging filmmakers to present their work to industry professionals.

Born in South Africa, Stefano TEALDI established Stefilm in Turin, Italy, where he develops, produces or directs documentaries, doc series, and feature-length dramas. He directed the doc series "In The Belly of the City" and recently produced the films "A Bastard and Pinochet’s Legacy" by Pepe ROVANO (Special Mention, Sanfic 2023), "Amor" by Virginia ELEUTERI SERPIERI (80 Mostra del Cinema di Venezia and IDFA Luminous 2023), “Snajka: A Diary of Expectations” by Tea VIDOVIĆ DALIPI (Human Rights Day – Sarajevo FF 2023); "Rispet" by Cecilia BOZZA WOLF (Bolzano, Trento and Sestri Levante 2023), "When We Were Bullies" by Jay ROSENBLATT (nominated for 2022 Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Film). "Exemplary Behaviour" (Golden Dove DOK Leipzig, FIPRESCI and Interreligious Award 2019), "My Home, in Libya" (Locarno Film Festival, DOK Leipzig, Chicago Int. Film Festival 2018, Premio Corso Salani - Trieste FF 2019), and "Wonderful Losers: A Different World" (Best Documentary, Warsaw FF 2017, Trieste FF 2018). He tutors for Biennale Cinema College Venice, Amman Film Industry, Attagirl, Documentary Campus, ESoDoc, La Fabrique Cinémas - Institute Francais, Factory, Films de 3 Continents – Produire au Sud, Imagination – Arab Film Scriptwriting, Jump In – Poitiers FF, Ouga Film Lab, Red Sea Lodge, TRT-12Punto Turkeye, TFL-Torino Film Lab, Scuola Holden, and ZELIG Film School.
