TCCF Pitching for documentary feature and series offers a platform for competitive projects. More and more documentaries have attracted public attention in recent years and the need is high. This year TCCF Pitching opens to all creators and producers across the globe. We hope to expand diversity and support more international co-funding and co-production opportunities.

Selected teams must participate in training workshops to practice, and get ready for international markets. This year, in collaboration with Docs by the Sea, one eligible project will be awarded to win the Docs by the Sea Prize and participate in its 2024 edition in Bali, Indonesia. The selected documentary project will receive mentorship and pitching opportunities, enabling them to connect with the international market. Additionally, we have partnered with CNEX to present the CCDF Award. One project, with a Chinese creative team or Chinese story theme, will be invited to the CNEX Chinese Doc Forum (CCDF) 2024.

• Open call: June 1^st 2023 to August 3^rd, 2023
• Fee: US$35 per project
• Each team can submit one or more projects.
• International jury will evaluate and select suitable projects
• Selections and jury will be announced in early September on TCCF website.
