Justin S. LEE | Writer/Director
Justin S. LEE is a Taiwanese American writer/director and Film Independent Fellow. He grew up bouncing between Philadelphia and Taipei, experimenting in many different storytelling mediums before finding his passion for film and television. He made movies on the side while studying business at UC Berkeley, and spent a year between schools working in the film industry before enrolling at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. During his training there, his short film “Drone” was nominated for a Student Academy Award, and he co-directed the feature film “Actors Anonymous”, starring Oscar-nominated actors Eric ROBERTS and James FRANCO.

LIU Wei-jan is a producer, film critic, festival curator, and marketing strategist. In 2005, she founded Atom Cinema, which specializes in film production, fundraising, and international markets. and has initiated numerous film, television, and web series projects. Roshanak Behesht NEDJAD | In Good Company GmbH | Founder/Producer
Roshanak Behesht NEDJAD has produced over 40 films and won numerous awards, including the Golden Leopard and the Prix Europe Iris. She recently received a German Film Award in Gold for one of her latest works. She also works as an expert for various institutions and training organizations such as A Post Lab, Cinemart, Berlinale, and the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg. She is a member of both the German and the European Film Academy.

Leslie LEE | Media and Content Consultant
Leslie LEE was born, bred and is based in Singapore. He has over two decades’ experience and expertise in the entertainment industry in Asia, across marketing communications, content curation, channel management, content development and media distribution. His career includes spells at MediaCorp (Kids and Arts Central), Viacom (Nickelodeon Asia Pacific), The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia and Warner Bros Discovery Asia Pacific.
His roles have included programming, operations, brand and franchise management, and content direction for leading brands such as the Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney XD, Nickelodeon, Nick JR, Pogo, Cartoon Network and Boomerang. He was Executive Producer for the series “Lamput” for Cartoon Network, which was nominated for an International Emmy Award for Best Animated Series in 2019.
He presently volunteers his time mentoring media students in various Singapore-based institutes of higher learning and is a board member of Centre 42, a non-profit arts organization that documents, promotes, and develops playwriting in Singapore.

Gugi GUMILANG is currently based in Jakarta and Berlin, serving as the Program Director for In-Docs, the award-winning non-profit organization behind initiatives like Docs by the Sea, Good Pitch Indonesia, and VitaminDocs. Since 2022, he has been elected to the Executive Board of the Documentary Association of Europe (DAE), and he recently joined Hot Docs as an International Film Programmer.
His work encompasses mentoring and consulting on projects and impact campaign strategies, and he frequently delivers talks on equitable international co-production practices, with a focus on Asia.
His extensive experience includes serving on selection committees for several prestigious film funds, such as the IDA Enterprise Fund, Chicken & Egg Pictures, IDFA Bertha Fund, Purin Pictures, and SGIFF Film Fund. He has also been a jury member for festivals like DOK Leipzig, Cannes Docs, IDFA Forum, Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM), CPH:DOX, Dokufest, Ji.hlava IDFF, and more.

Wood LIN has served as the Program Director of the Taiwan International Documentary Festival (TIDF) since 2013 and has been a Program Advisor for the International Documentary Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) since 2020. Since 2021, he has also been the Supervisor of the Research and Program Division at the Taiwan Film and Audiovisual Institute.

Aileen LI is a film and television producer. After earning a dual master’s degree in law and telecommunications from Northwestern University, she commenced her career as a producer in 2004, working on films such as “Formula 17” , “When a Wolf Falls in Love with a Sheep”, and “Forêt Debussy”. In 2008, she started participating in cross-strait and international co-productions, including “Prince of Tears”, Luc BESSON’s “Lucy”, and John WOO’s “The Crossing”. In 2019, she produced “Detention”, which won five Golden Horse Awards. It also won five Taipei Film Awards, including the Grand Prize. Other works include “Nowhere Man”, the first Mandarin-speaking Netflix original series. Her recent film, “Eye of the Storm”, was the Grand Prize winner of the Golden Horse FPP and won five awards at the Taipei Film Awards, including Best Director and Best Actor. Her latest film, “Dead Talents Society”, is co-produced with Sony Pictures International Productions.

Active in the film industry since the late 1990s, Jenna KU is a film producer who runs VOL Media, a production company she set up in 2016.
Since her first movie, “Penny Pinchers” (2011), starring SONG Joong-ki, she has produced “Little Forest” (2018) with Kim Tae-ri, “Josée” (2020), a Korean adaptation of the renowned Japanese film of the same name, “The Tiger and the Fish”, and “Brave Citizen”, an action-comedy based on the popular webtoon. She has also produced acclaimed independent movies such as “The Running Actress” (2017), the directorial debut of veteran actress MOON So-ri, “The Table” (2017), and “Shades of the Heart” (2021). Since 2018, she has lectured on film development at the Busan Asian Film School (AFiS), an international school for young up-and-coming Asian producers/directors.

With over 25 years of experience in the film industry, Nelson MOK has made significant contributions across various roles. As the Director of International Business at mm2 Entertainment, he was instrumental in licensing the Taiwanese romantic drama “More Than Blue” to China, where it achieved phenomenal success, grossing an impressive US$135 million.
At the renowned American talent and literary agency WME Independent, he managed key projects including Taiwan’s “The Bridge Curse,” the Indonesian musical drama “Backstage,” and the Vietnamese action-thriller “Furies.” Remarkably, he sold the theatrical rights for “The Bridge Curse: Ritual” to 46 countries before its release.
In 2024, he co-founded Mokster Films in Singapore, specializing in the international sales, development, and financing of Asia-produced content. Mokster’s first major success was the Thai film “How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies,” which set a box office record with US$34 million in Southeast Asia.

Renan ARTUKMAÇ graduated as the valedictorian in Film Production at Ecole Superieure d’Etudes Cinematographiques (ESEC) Paris and obtained his Master at Royal Holloway, University of London. He is a producer and distributor who has worked with numerous international directors, such as Reha ERDEM, Sebastian LELIO, Pablo LARRAIN, Laurent CANTET, Abel FERRARA, Emmanuel MOURET, Gabriele MUCCINO, Emmanuel CARRERE, Sandrine KIBERLAIN, and Delphine DELOGET.
In 2023, he joined Cinefrance Studios to produce feature films and series. He is currently producing Academy Award-winning director Regis WARGNIER's new film, and Taiwanese author CHANG Kuo-Li’s series “Fly”.

Jeyi AN | Eightgeman Ltd. | Director/Producer
Jeyi AN is a Taiwanese director, writer, and producer. He majored in Interior Design at CYCU and got his MFA degree in Film and Video Production at California Institute of the Arts (Calarts). His works, which include dramas, documentaries and video art, have been awarded at various film festivals around the world. ”Boys Can Fly”, the TV series he directed, won Best TV Series and Best Writing at the 2014 Golden Bell Awards.“Q Series”, which he produced in 2016, ushered in a new era of Taiwanese TV dramas.
He is now also the secretary-general of Taiwan Original Filmmakers Union (TOFU), and teaches at universities.

Sarso CHOU has produced over a dozen movies, TV series, commercials, and music videos. Films include “One Minute More”, “Nezha”, “Gatao”, “Gatao 2: Rise of the King”, and “Gatao: Like Father Like Son”. Series include “Year of the Rain”, “Mom, Don’t Do That!”, and “A Perfect Blossom”.

CHIEN Li-ying is a Taiwanese playwright, director, and content director of DAMOU Entertainment Co., Ltd. She received her BA in Theatre Arts from Chinese Culture University and majored in MFA Playwriting at Taipei National University of the Arts. She was selected as one of the Top 10 Promising Theatre Artists by Performing Arts Review magazine in 2011, and was awarded Outstanding Theatre Artist by the same magazine in 2012. In 2015, she was the Resident Artist of National Theater & Concert Hall. In 2018, she was the Resident Artist of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and National Chengchi University in Taiwan. She has written and directed more than 30 stage plays and published the script anthologies ”Sleep in Spring”, ”Dress in Code” , and ”The Possible Memory of a Traitor”, as well as the comic “Tender is the Night”.
